Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 27, 2026

1. Who we are

Adopio is operated by KYAM LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Adopio," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide AI implementation services to businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit adopio.com (the "Site"), contact us, or work with us.

This policy covers information about individuals. Information we process on behalf of clients as part of an engagement is also governed by our written agreement with that client (see Section 4).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Audit requests and inquiries. When you request a free audit or contact us, we collect your name, business email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your business and its workflows.
  • Engagement information. If you become a client, we collect the business contact details, billing information, and project information needed to deliver and invoice our services.
  • Communications. We keep records of emails, calls, and messages you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Server and security logs. Our hosting and content delivery providers automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring URL, and the date and time of each request. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
  • Analytics. See Section 6.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, or government ID information) through the Site. Please do not submit it in the audit form.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule and conduct your free audit.
  • To provide, maintain, and support the services you engage us for.
  • To send you information related to your inquiry or engagement, such as proposals, invoices, and project updates.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Client data in our services

When we set up or operate AI systems for a client, we may access or process data that belongs to that client or its customers, such as records in the client's business tools. We handle that data only to deliver the services, in line with the client's instructions and our written agreement with the client. Where that agreement conflicts with this policy, the agreement controls for that data.

Delivering our services may involve third-party AI model providers and software platforms. We select providers that offer appropriate data protection commitments and, where available, configure them so that client data is not used to train their models. Details for a specific engagement are available on request.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, content delivery and security, font delivery, form processing (Formspree), privacy-focused website analytics (Plausible), email, scheduling, invoicing, and the AI and software platforms used to deliver client work. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Adopio, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site does not set its own cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google when you visit. Our hosting and content delivery providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security and performance.

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the Site is used, such as which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and roughly how many audit requests are submitted. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information that identifies you. It reports aggregate statistics such as page views, referring sites, country, browser, and device type. You can read more in Plausible's data policy.

Audit form

When you submit the audit form, the information you enter is sent to Formspree, a form-processing service, which delivers it to us by email. Formspree processes that information on our behalf. You can read more in Formspree's privacy policy.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Audit requests that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up, then deleted. Client and billing records are kept for the duration of the relationship and as long afterward as needed for legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Logs held by our providers are kept according to their retention schedules.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you non-essential communications, by emailing kyamco@icloud.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where the law requires or permits it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in those laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

10. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where the law of your country requires it, we rely on appropriate legal bases for processing, such as responding to your request, performing a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in operating our business, and you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
